The syllabus for this Colby College course includes music clips from a variety of themes: Creating the New Jew, Songs of the Motherland, Memorial Music, Israelized Rock, Mizrahi Music, Russian and Ethiopian Israelis, Tel Aviv and the Periphery, Jewish-Israeli Songs on the Conflict, Palestinian-Israeli Songs on the Conflict, and Judaism in Contemporary Pop Music.
